The Governors of this friendly and expanding village school near Abingdon are seeking an effective class teacher to join our teaching team. The vacancy is a temporary post to cover maternity leave in a year 3/4 class.
In a perfect world, we would like to appoint a dedicated, full time teacher; however if you are looking for a part-time role, then please apply as this might also be an option for us.
The foundation for our school is our restorative behaviour policy. We are dedicated to the community/family feel to the school and applicants need to be willing to become fully involved in developing the whole child including their emotional development. We are looking for highly committed and enthusiastic team players who have a passion for high quality learning. Staff at the school are full of ideas and there is great energy and motivation; we need similar people to inspire and motivate children to achieve high standards through a dedication to metacognition and learning skills. The resources at the school are impressive and we have a wonderful Forest School and outdoor areas as well as a sensory therapy bus and a nurture room; both are widely used.
