Our Parent Teacher Association is a group who’s primary aim is to improve our school and enhance school life for each child.
During the past couple of years we have purchased playground equipment, funded for all children to take part in a First Aid course, paid for a visiting poet who delivered workshops to the whole school. As well as music speakers, trees for our forthcoming forest school development, PE equipment, giant games for the playground, scooters for the after-school club, the list goes on!
Throughout the year we also organise a number of community-building initiatives, which also help to generate funds, such as school discos, the Summer Family Fun Day, class Bake-Off and other fundraisers. Plus deliver further opportunities to our children for example starting an after-school yoga club.
We are a small, friendly and dedicated group and would warmly welcome other parents to join us and help better Dry Sandford Primary School. If you would like to find out more please contact Becky Putt, PTA – firstname.lastname@example.org
Keep up to date on our PTA activities by joining our Facebook group. We also have a noticeboard at the school entrance and have some brief information in the school newsletter.
