Our School: Uniform

Our school has a simple uniform that we like all pupils to wear.  An order form for school uniform can be found under the School Office section of this website.

Winter uniform

For boys: Burgundy sweatshirt, grey trousers, yellow polo shirt.
For girls: Burgundy sweatshirt, grey trousers, grey skirt or pinafore dress, yellow polo shirt.

Summer uniform

For boys: yellow polo shirt, grey trousers or shorts.
For girls: red and white dress, burgundy cardigan, yellow polo shirt, grey skirt.

PE

For both boys and girls: white polo shirt, black shorts and plimsolls.

Swimming

For boys: swimming trunks and hat (available from the school office).
For girls: swimming costume and hat.

Other:

All children will need a pair of indoor shoes.

Names Please!

All clothes brought into school, i.e. PE and Games Kit as well as uniform must be clearly marked with your child's name.

Jewellery

With the exception of watches, jewellery is not permitted in the school as it can easily be lost or damaged, and occasionally it can cause accidents. The DfES advises that jewellery should not be worn during PE. It is advisable that children have their ears pierced at the end of the Summer term (if they are going to have them pierced at all!), as children are not allowed to take part in PE or swimming sessions for 6 weeks following such treatment.

We also ask that children with longer hair should have it tied back. This is a hygiene issue as well as for the child’s safety.
