Dry Sandford: Have fun learning!

Welcome to our school website.  We're certain that parents and other people interested in our school will find it useful.

Before you look around, some of our pupils would like to tell you a bit about their school...

A great school

Dry Sandford School was opened in 1938 and is located north-west of Abingdon, with a catchment area that includes the villages of Dry Sandford, Wootton, Gozzards Ford, Whitecross and parts of Wootton.

Spacious, inclusive & popular

pottery_1With spacious classrooms and grounds, the school has a large field and multiple play areas with football, netball and short tennis pitches for the children to enjoy.  A new fitness trail also gives the pupils at Dry Sandford a challenging but safe opportunity for exercises, helping to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

At Dry Sandford Primary School all learners are valued and there is a "whole school" approach to inclusivity as we know that care, guidance and support have a positive impact on both pupils' capacity to learn and on their self-confidence.

And finally... sportsday_1

The school has a foundation stage class for 4-5 year olds, a key stage 1 class, and three key stage 2 classes.  We have an ICT room, a sizeable hall, staffroom and office.  Our school is popular and successful so please get in touch if you want to find out more.
